Still having code 41 issues.....
Ok...I posted a number of days ago about some minor electrical issues ive been having with my non-existant knock sensor + wiring and this strange code 41 ive been throwing, I need some advice.
Using the guide here on h-tech and a haynes manual ive virtually re-done the 4 wire conversion that the car had originally had and surprisingly the old owners didn't do too bad of a job with the o2, here it is..
1. I checked resistance on the o2 sensor heater and it passed.
2. Getting valid voltage signal at the ecu from sensor.
3. Replaced o2 anyway.
4. Checked for system voltage at the o2 connector that is used to activate the heater circuit..system voltage was there within a half a volt. I know I have a good ground, battery neg. is about as grounded as you can get.
5. Getting a valid signal (around 500millivolts) at the ecu with the new sensor...ive let the car sit with the battery unplugged for like..4 hours now and it's still registering the same code 41(o2 heater circuit) any ideas?
BTW..the only thing that I can maybe think of is that in all 4 of the wires for the o2 I only have one pinned in to the ecu with is the o2 signal..the rest are tied into the bay where pre existing power and ground connections are for the o2 signal, power for the heater and ground for the heater.
Almost forgot...car's a 1992 civic cx w/ jdm sirII b16a running the jdm p30 ecu.
