How much is this lip worth?

Theres an old lady around my neighborhood with a full set on her 96-98 coupe and I feel like buying them off of her.
Its a really nice looking lip.
PS: SK8shorty sorry for using your pic. BTW, do you miss me?
That is about a 300-400 dollar lip for sure and is very rare to find. Just go talk to the old lady and lowball her, chances are she won't know how much they are worth.

The rears go for about $300 usually, though I've seen them as low as $200 (with broken brackets) and up to about $400. Rears can still be found and have been listed online for sale for years semi-regularly.
The fronts are where the money is at. They're much more difficult to get a hold of, probably because they all meet curbs. Fronts are getting easier to find for sale, but when I purchased mine (first I found for sale in five years), it cost me $500 BNIB. Some people sell them for much cheaper under the assumption that they are fake Type R lips (which they are not).
I basically see the price of the front lip as being "whatever the seller wants for it".
Both lips are discontinued now. The matching sideskirts are the same as Si sideskirts, they're just painted stock sideskirts.
These lips were available in the US for 1998 Civic coupes only. Overseas they had they on hatches (Europe and Japan) and sedans (Europe). I've seen them in Australia too.
The first photo is a photo of sk8shorty's car. His is a '99-'00 Civic EX coupe. I don't remember if he swapped to a '96-'98 rear bumper or if he kept the '99-'00 rear bumper and had to break the brackets off the lip to make it work.

They are "stock" (optional) lips.
Oh, and a lot of older people and others not into cars are hesitant to sell random parts off their car because they think you're trying to scam them and or it will hurt their car. $30 probably will not convince her. In fact $300 probably won't convince her. She will probably not know why this strange guy is trying to buy part of her bumper.
Here are file photos. I can scan the accessories manual later, but have been lazy about it.

Yeah I was planning on low balling her, but not $30 lol, maybe $200 for both and ill make sure no marks are left. I dont know exactly where she lives, but I see her plenty amount of times around my area.
So it must be a 96-98 rear bumper in order for it fit?
And does anyone know where I can find that tape that is mounted in between the lip and the bumper? I see it a lot on new cars and I really want some. You can see it in the pics that NOFX posted.
Thanks.

i got mine thx to sk8shorty(car in the first post). he works for honda and posted the remaining dealership that still had em in stock a looong while ago. according to his list i picked up the last in cali beside his.as far as i know all the lips on the list got pickup'd. they wanted 400$ for it too and i told em it got discountinued years ago and they dropped to like 190$ i think, which wasnt bad considering the rarerity of it and that fact that it was new in box. and nofx is right the front lip is even harder to find. also that black trim is actually on the lip, i just covered it when i painted it. since it was new i didnt wanna break the brackets on side to make it fit my 99 bumper i bought a 98 bumper instead. i dont care much for the rarerity of it, i just really like the way it looks.it gives my car lower stance look even tho im on 17s

nofx know everything
....offer her 50& for that rear lip....i offered a kid that i saw a few time's in my neighborrhodd a paintball gun for his 96-98 rear lip and he was like ok but i have to ask my dad next day he came over with the rear lip off the car and i gave him a 100$ paint ball gun

I've only heard of replicas of the hatch rear lips, but they're going to be just as hard to find as the real deal.
