when braking, rattling sound
Hi everyone
Today when I went over a speed bump, I scraped really badly. I wasn't going that fast but it raped me. *shrugs
So, I kept driving, promising not to do it again, and now whenever I brake, there comes a rattling, high pitched, squeaky sound. It can't be my pads, but I don't know what it is. All I can tell is that it comes from the right side of my em1. and it seems to only do it when it feels like it.
Any ideas?

Yea I got an idea.
Lift the car up and give it a good look!
It would REALLY help the E-Diagnosing if the one person near the car ( YOU ) did all the eyes and ears testing possible, so then we can work from there.
1. Lift it up and look at everything, wouldn't want risking any bigger damages.
2. If it only does it when it feels like it, trying checking if it does it while braking with the steering wheel slightly curved to one side or another, etc.

Sorry for late response, I've been out with the flu.
What I've done is get under the car and look at it. It is coming from the rear right tire, and its like a high pitched jingling sound. What I initially thought it was, was my rear camber washer trick. Basically, its a bunch of washers pushing out the lower control arms. I thought I had knocked them lose, and when I was braking, it was putting so much pressure on them they were shaking really badly against each other. I put back in the stock bolts to the LCA's and took out some of the washers so they would fit, and now there's only two. I tightened it extremely hard and I couldn't move them with my finger so I thought it was good, but its still making the sound.
After just driving it, I can confirm that it makes no difference to my braking and driving. Things seems a little bumpier, and that makes me think that it could still be due to the LCA's. It also is making a very light jingling sound from just driving forward, however, when the steering wheel is pulled right, even a little, it goes away. It's still there with left turns and forward but the sound is quite weaker. It also is making no sound at all when I drive/brake in reverse.
Any ideas? I really need help just because the sound is driving me crazy!
