after swap problem, fan
90 itegra, just swapped in a straight b 20, no v tec. we started the car, after a while it heated up because the fan wouldnt kick on. we jumpered it at a few different places, still no fan. we put power straight to the fan, nothing. were getting another fan tommrow.
an hour later i went out back to get something, and now i find the a c fan running? what gives, am i missing something here? the ignition switch was off. the keys were on the counter. baffeled...

c,mon, somebody has to have at least a good guess. the swap turned out really well, other then the fan issue, which i know is just an electrical glitch somewhere. but i dont really know where to look, because it just dosent make sense. the car looks totally stock with the stock air cleaner, air conditioning and power steering. cant wait to actually drive it.
o k, im pretty sure i figured this out. the ca fans relay is pretty correded at the connections. its a little warm to the touch, and when i move it the fan speed changes. it needs some work.
Did you use your old 90' harness?
If so, there is a difference between the b18a and the b20 in regards to the coolant fan switch. On the back of the b18a block just to the left of the oil filter, you should see the old coolant fan switch. For the b20, the fan switch is on the thermostat housing.
Thus, if you are using the 90' obd0 harness then just splice the two wires which plugged to the back of the b18a coolant fan switch sensor and extend it up to the b20 thermostat housing. Here's a link for your reference: (http://g2ic.com/forums/showthread.ph...&highlight=b20)
If you are not using the obd1 harness from a 92-93 integra, then it should all be just plug and play.
Good luck!
