rear disc swap
finished up a rear disc swap on a eg...im sure its an alignment...i noticed to day that the car looks like its running sideways.....hope thats what it is...so anyone know if i just need to get it aligned
Hey. I did mine a few months ago. Did you use the ef rear discs or da's? Mine were from a 91 crx SI and it turned out the compensator arms were about an inch and a half too long. This cause massive toe out even with the alignment set for full toe in. Something worth checking into. Also, are you sure you don't have the lower control arms backwards? It's rare, but possible (I know from experience tehe). After I figured out all my flaws I was able to just set the compensator arms back to their old alignment (you could see the "ring" the bolt left in the chassis) just to be able to drive it to get aligned but it actually didnt need it. Just stand from the rear of the car and look at your wheel, does it look fairly flush (straight) with the body, or does it boe in or out on the front of the wheel?
from my past experience you should be using the stock compensator arms. only thing from the rear disk swap you need to be using is the hub. unless of course you were able to pull the entire trailing arm assembly off of the same model year car, than you can use the whole setup. an alignment though would be good.
Yes, you need an alignment. You took apart the rear suspension which means you screwed up the rear toe.
