swap trailing arms = wheel rub???
going to swap a 94 del sol vtec rear trailing arm in to my 97 civic ex.
some people told me that sometimes when you swap rear trailing arms into 6 gen civics, they have problems with the rear wheels rubing the rear wheel well.
i just want to know if this is true, because i got the trailing arms already, but i am wondering if i should swap the whole rear trailing arm, or just take it apart and only use the rear disk brake stuff on my org. civic trailing arm
please let me know.....thanks

just heard some people talking about this problem when i did a search.
did you swap your rear trailing arms? if so, what kinda car? what car did the trailing arms came from?
please let me know, because i got some questions about the swap

I have a 96 Hatch. Rear trailing arms came from a 97 integra.

thanks for replying
well....did you use the integra e brake cable and the brake hose? did you change the mc/booster, p/v???
the rear trailing arms i got is from a from a del sol (no abs).....i am pretty sure that one of the ebrake cables is too short, and the brake hose is cut. I need to know which ones to buy.....
people told me that the mc really don't need to be changed (i got an EX ) but it would be a good idea to change the P/V but i really don't have to. they say its ok with the one i got, but it will be better if i got the ones from a tag or si
oh well, thanks a lot for your posts

If you are going to buy ebrake cables, get 99SI ones. I used integra ones.
The brake lines from an Integra or 99SI would work. I have a set of braided ones for an SI.
I used a 97 GSR with ABS MC/BB and 99SI Prop valve. If you can afford it swap the MC/BB to anything that is 1" bore. ITR mc/bb are a direct swap from everything I have seen. Others may also swap right in, but some may require a different flare fitting or bending lines, as was the case with the BB/MC I used.
I looked at a EX and SI prop valve at the junkyard, and they had the same stamp on them, which means they are the same.
