Will a GSR AC bracket correctly mount a Civic AC compressor in my b18C1 hybrid.? Thanks..

 

It will work, but your compressor won't be held on by all 4 bolts. You can use a Delsol AC bracket and all holes will line up.

Its not just a Del-Sol A/C bracket...it has to be a 94-95 Del-Sol VTEC A/C/ Bracket...here is the part number for it

38930-p30-000

I used a delSol VTEC A/C bracket (p/n 38930-P54-000) in my 92 Si/B18C and it worked perfectly.

 

Do NOT use the AC bracket with P30 in the part number.

The '94-'95 DOHC VTEC Del Sol AC bracket has P54 in the part number. That is the one you want. Trust me on this one. I have bought a dozen or so and they have all worked on the swaps I have done.

I used a '94 del sol vtec bracket to mount the compressor on my old LS motor (in my old dx hatch), worked perfectly too (too bad it got totaled b4 I got to charge the ac).

 

Both the P54 and the P30 will work (hold the motor in place).

It depends on if you keep your AC and use the Civic compressor.

If you have a 92-95 Civic, you need the 94-95 del Sol AC bracket.

If you have a 96+ you need the 96-97 del Sol/ 99-00 Si AC bracket.

Simple enough.

I used the P54 form my 98 Civic CX.

OK...thanks guys...no P30s here i am doing the P54 part number. One other question though, is motor mount part of the ac bracket or is that a separate item. meaning if I get the Del Slo ac bracket can I use the GSR lower driver motor mount or does the del sol bracket come with a mount.?

I need a chipped p28 ecu for a (obd 1 ) b18c1 with I/H 4into 1/E. I also want to add at some point the 70mm throttle body and Skunk 2 stage 1 cams. The mount is seperate from the bracket. I used a GS-R mount and shaft (for lack of better term) that threads into the bracket. The mount then slides over that.
