Default h22a makin it 2.4

ok guys i need some advice, and would appriciate if those

who are not trying to help just keep it moving .

with that said i have a h22a in my eg hatchback, Im trying to

start my project for the summer.

I want to make the block a 2.4 but not sure how going about this..

I heard a f23 crank with rods and pistons would work?

can someone guide me into some possible setups used..thanks

hey you gonna do any thing to the tranny? im rebuilding my h23a atm i know ewwww but its what i got and trying to do it cheap. i'm thinking cr-v 4wd tranny would be bad#$$

be careful, though: earlier h22s have 50mm mains, later ones have 55mm mains. i don't recall off the top of my head what size mains are on the f23 crank though...

also, you may want to look into the k24 crank. i understand that they drop into some h22's and s2000 f20/f22's with very slight modification...

from what i hear it does make a slight difference. me personally i havent done it im looking for the euro vtec h23 from the 4wd accord. im gonna make my lude to 4wd drive. probably just build it with the tranny and h23 vtec. i know, people say it doesnt exist but it does. i seen it for sell just didnt have the 4.5k for all the stuff. even the h22 can be built better the h23 can be built for more torque. so its kinda hard to decide. good luck with that h23 your building hope we can run track oneday.

Your going to need a big crank to get that much displacement a f23 crank will put you at about 2.3 liters... if you want more than that you will need a custom crank.. if you can find a user on here that goes by 2fastgsr he has one for sale.. that will put you over the 2.4 liter mark let me know if you need help contacting him..
