Can a K20a2 crank work in a f20c?
If you have both, why don't you measure them and see if they're the same? Or look it up on the internet for their dimensions vs. eachother.
I know for the K24 crank you have to get creative with rod/piston combo, but never heard of anyone using a k20 crank in an F20

that was the next step i was trying to avoid pulling the K20 to find it cant work.... but ive been searching.... i kno the k24 crank drops right in with the use of h22a pistons and rods which i also have in my garage hoping to find a k24a2 tsx crank to build a stroker kit......
yeah but with the k20 you can go on google and punch out all the numbers, k20 stroke vs. F20 stroke might be enough to give you an answer. It takes all of 15 minutes to put the pistons/rods/crank in and give it a spin to see if the crank clears everything, the deck height, and so on to see if it'll work
i think the snout of the k series crank is too small for s2000 purposes. conversely the s2000 crank will not work in a K series motor unless the snout is machined some... but it does work with some modification.
there are threads on k20a.org, i dont know if the reverse is possible though...

This just sounds like a bad idea, Why are going to cheap out on one of the most important part of your car? Spend a extra dollar now and save a lot latter.
