Well after making several kits for friends, I FINALLLLY got the time to do one for myself. This is just a side hobby, not my career. I used my Syncrowave 200 and a chopsaw for everything, even my collector.
Turned out well. The hardest part was going back and forth changing the collector-head flange location so where the turbo fit accordingly.
I hope you all like it for the most part. It's just something I do to pass the time and save my money doing it myself. I am no AFI/Full_Race, etc.. so I am not looking for comparisons, lol.

Don't mind the mess, its all better now

:jawdrop: Wow.... I missed seeing fab threads from u wade.. I used to look forward to seeing them all the time.. A true quality backyard builder.. I'm on the same path as you but still taking babysteps.
Quick question, what are you using to cut the sheetmetal for the endtnks?
Once again, as you already know, your **** looks sick.. Fullrace who? Wade industries ftw!
LOL good work.

Nice work, Looks like that manifold took awhile to make, I like the dual wastegates, that turbo also looks like a monster. Congrats on a nice turbo setup and a clean looking turbo engine bay
enjoy man. I hope one day that I will be able to make a turbo setup for my B series.

Mother of God! That snail is huge. can wait to see what it throws down on dyno... Nice job on the manifold very clean.
Looks good Wade, I've seen some quality fab work done by you [topend]. Its nice to see some high power setups coming from KY.
I'm curious, it shows the mani completely tacked up. When you are finishing up the welds do you actually have to disassemble some sections in order to get access to some of the seams?
I ask this because I am going to try to fab up a mani for my new s366 and this is something I've been wondering.
Thanks for your time,
dk

nope. I welded the entire manifold with the primaries tacked to the flanges/collector. I just plan ahead of time to make sure as I fit it together I can get to all the welds.
wouldnt it be easier to break off each runner and weld them individually and then weld each runner to the head/turboinlet flange? would it warp much doing that way?
