Default Brake upgrade...

Well, I'm finally moving forward with mods, this weekend I'll be doing a rear disc brake setup on my hx. Any tips? Well I'll keep you posted on how it turns out...next up is my B16 upgrade...and either updating the frontend to 99 si, or getting the CTR grill and lip for my 97. Oh and I may crack open the lights to do a black housing. not sure yet.

Get the front brakes too. The rears only do like 20% of the braking.

Wurd. Intergra or SI front brake upgrade makes a bigger difference and is cheaper.

I would also save your money on a SI front end swap and put it towards a b18c instead of a b16.

I'm actually pretty happy with a B16, don't wanna get too crazy...and for the fronts I have some cross drilled rotors. Are the Si's bigger? Because I saw some company in honda tuning that has a big brake upgrade front and back for about $500. Anyone heard about these? I'll find the ad and let you know who's selling and hopefully who makes...

99-00 si and gsr brakes are the same size. They are cheap and bolt right on. But then you might as well get the 40/40 prop valve and a 1" master cylinder and stainless steel brake lines.

Civic or integra with rear discs. Depending on your car and if it is abs equipped, you will need a gsr/rs/ or 99-00 si. For the 96-00 civics which are not abs equipped, the si prop valve is the easiest way to go.
