I have a 98 Civic which is OBD2, the OBD1 motor swaps are at least $1000 cheaper than the OBD2 swaps.

Can I swap an OBD1 motor into my car and still get it bar'd??

Has anyone done this and passed??

well it would seem like you will need an ecu and harness for the engine if you want to do that, but it is actually illegal to do that in all 50 states so unless this is like a track car you may want to give it a second thought
