How Difficult to Install Brake Lines?
I'm starting to really enjoy this working on your own car thing.
How difficult is it to install a set of SS brake lines? Is there a guide or how-to anywhere online?

It's really not that difficult. It's a messy job, and you should really have a set of Flare nut wrenches, but still not all that dificult. I'm sure there is a how-to, but your best bet is a Helms manual...
I guess it all depends on how comfortable you are doing work, cause now rather than just adding a CAI or something, your working on the MOST IMPORTANT system on your car. If you mess up this install, there could be dire concequences.
Just some food for thought.

Like replacing the old lines with SS ones and whatnot? It's not too bad.. especially with a manual, you'll be fine. Just make sure you get the air out of the lines.
That took us a while..

It was easy. The only problem I had was one of the nuts was frozen and we stripped it some. Just ended up cutting the old line as that bracket was not used with the new lines
I've never had a problem like that... The last car I did was a '93. Just put some penetrating oil on the nuts, get yourself the flarenut wrenches, and you'll be good to go.
Proper bleeding is essential. This is a great time to flush your brake fluid with some good stuff. Get something that's a different color, so you know when you've flushed all the lines.

it isn't bad.....here are some brake line/fluid rules of thumb...
:don't mix fluid grade (I don't like to mix fluid brands either)
:water instantly neutralizes brake fluid. don't get water anywhere near fluid to be used, and if fluid spills, water will get it up the best.
:keep it away from you paint if possible. if it spills on your fender, have a wet rag ready.
:never use old fluid, even if it is unused. moisture in the air will **** it up. fresh bottle is key
:bleed brakes according to manual, but I like to start from the wheel farthest from the master cylinder and go closer.
:make sure you have plenty of pressure before driving the car (means, pump the pedal and check for leaks)
:2 people are better than one during bleeding.
oh, and do yourself a favor and make sure the lines don't rub on anything.

Zip ties fixed that.
be careful - check to see how tight to tighten the banjo bolts....if your kit comes with new ones, don't over-tighten!
You won't be smiling when the bolt head goes "pop"
Overall, one of the easiest "how-to's" that most people won't try, but I think is well worth the $$.
