i just got done doing my timing on my car so i get everything done then the problem comes? how do you put back on this alt. belt . so i tried i put the belt on with the crankshaft pulley tried it . failed it made the crankshaft pulley slanted and when i turn it on it started to break my timing cover so im in desparetd need of trying to do this.

 

well first u loosen up that bolt on top of the alt then under the alt there is a 10mm bolt that u loosen, the long one not the short one. That short one bolt the bracket to the alt,just keep loosening that long bolt and u will see uur alt start to drop. Maybe push on it while uur loosening until there is enough clearance to put the belt on.... Also how did u get it off?
