Whats up honda tech, ok I have a 91 EF and my brake lights don't work. I check the fuses and changed it and they worked again. Put then the fuse popped and i kept replacing it and right away the fused popped again and it did that multiple times. I don't know what is wrong can someone help me please. thanks a lot!!

 

If the fuse keeps popping, it's for a reason. Something is shorting that particular circuit.

 

how do you fix that?? if there is a short

 

Check your wiring especially in the hatch. Make sure nothing got pinched or cut.

 

You should also check the light sockets in the rear. Sometimes a badly rusted socket can cause a fuse to continue to blow, or water in the light can do the same thing.

 

You might also consider checking the brake lamp switch at the brake pedal. Sometimes these switches stop working (short out) and it will cause the same problem you are talking about. just an idea...good luck!

 

there is a switch under or behind the brake pedal? Sorry for all these questions I had this car for a few months and still new to hondas but i do live my EF!
