Default Starter grind when Cold

Every time I start my car in the cold(<50 degrees) the starter grinds. Its fine if the weather is warm and I have no problems. Not sure what is causing it but its annoying. Any advice on how to fix this or whats causing it??

I allways thought it was just cause the starter was sticking and all you had to do was take it apart lube it and it would be good to go.
