Default ITR Camera Optics

Not for only the ITR's, but i figure most people in here are the most concerned/eager to know about this.

If you look at many pictures of CW ITR's, and some of PY ITR's you will notice a paint mismatch as if the car was "resprayed" there at the door panel.

actually there is a good reason for the paint mismatching and it has to do with optics.

what does a camera do? At any given shutter speed (even a very very fast one or slow one) it takes a "still" of what you yourself sees, 1 frame of what you saw.

Our human eyes interpret color in a constant motion. Its a live video feed into our brains, so we see things in a very flowing fashion.

Now a picture that was taken...it takes a snapshot, something our eyes cant do. At any given angle of a picture, the 3 body panels will never be the same curvature, or angle in respect to the actual camera. In many of the side shot pictures you see the door is usually a heavier color than the fender or the quarter panel...and what i mean is, the color looks darker. reason for this is because the camera angle is closest 90 degrees with the door, so all of what you say is color is imprinted on the camera roll. while the fender and the quarter panel are at lesser than a 90 degree angle...which explains why they look "faded" or lighter in color.

Ok...i'm guilty. I've been over yoshi's house lately and hes been feeding me some green stuff

But I HTH anyone whos been wondering and has no clue why.
