Default Will this main hoop pass nhra/ihra inspection?

Ive been going through the nhra/ihra rule book, and cant seem to come to a definitive answer. Can anyone that has some cage experience tell me if this main hoop will pass inspection:

My main concern is the last two bend just before it is attached to the floor. Ive seen in some SCCA rule books that you can only have 4 bends totaling 180* +/- 10 *, but i cant seem to find anything about the amount of bends in the ihra/nhra rule book.

This has me a bit worried since the cage is about 65-70% completed now. Ive completly stoped working on the cage untill i can come up with a difinitve answer.

Thanks
Ryan

its definitely too many bends to pass scca, im not 100% sure about nhra but i dont think it will. also for scca you are only allowed 4 bends in the halo. you have 6. but again im not sure about NHRA

I'm nearly 100% confident that will fail inspection.

Im 100% sure it would fail.
4 bends tops. what car is this in? A full frame car? Your floor plates look too small as well

Floor plates are 6x6, and this is in a unibody car. I know for scca it would fail, but i dont see anything in the nhra/ihra that says it can only hve 4 bends.

I don't either actually. 6x6 plates are fine. But I honestly don't see anything saying anything about number of bends in the main hoop.

Scroll down to page 42. If anyone else sees it let me know. Good luck.

It should technicly pass because there is no mention of the amount of bends permitted on the main hoop. I'll post up the results when the car goes for certification in a mounth.

Thanks for the nhra link!
