Ok there is this kid that talks a lot of smack about how he can spank me in a race. He has a riced out eg coupe with stock ls vtec, huge rims (17"), big spoiler, has a rattle can exhaust. I want to race him, but i dont know if i can beat him. I got a 99 ls swap in my 91 civic std hatch, with advanced timing, CAI with k&n filter, hytech replica header, with a custom 2.5" straight pipe with a apexi n1 muffler. Ls tranny, hasport mounts, act heavy duty 6 puck clutch, innovative traction bar, ctr crank pulley (dont think it makes a difference) i know i am probably missing something out. But who would win from like a 10-20mph roll?

street racing isn't looked kindly here. but if you're curious, and think your the better driver, then just go race already, at a track, not the street, might kill someone.

 

seriously don't race on the streets. every time street racers get caught our insurance premiums go up and cops start stereo typing more against our types of cars. beat him in life by telling him to **** off. street racing has one main purpose imo; to see who has the larger *****. yes it's fun to fukc around w people a little bit, but seriously keep it to the track

 

first, you need to grow up and not ask people on a forum who would win... we could all say OHH YOUR GOING TO WIN!! and thats what you, want am i wrong? go to the track and run where you have times, a light, and a safe environment to race in, the poster above me is right, you are the type of person that causes the police to stereotype our cars. And dont tell me you dont want to go to the track because you think your car will get stolen the next day, im sure theres plenty of other cars at the track that are much nicer then yours.

I hope when you street race that you only hurt yourself. At the point when you hit someone else not only will your car be gone you’ll spend some time jail. Your logic sucks, get it off the street.

Or even better, maybe you’ll royally screw your friend up in the passenger seat like Nick Bollea. That would be a lot easier to live with the rest of your life. Seeing your buddy on life support hoping that he will just open his eyes today when you see him. That all really seems worth it?
