Default 1996 integra gsr OBDII engine check light p1381 HELP!

hey i really need help. i have a acura integra 1996 gsr the other day the check engine light came on i reset it and came back on it read p1381 Cylinder Position Sensor Intermittant Inturruption... i had the sensors replace and it still comes on? my friend said it might be the 18 teeth that clamp onto the cams or whatever and he said it might be missing 1 tooth is that true? any suggestions?!?! PLEASE HELP! what do i do ?

Possible short on the harness that leads to the crankshaft position sensor. Somehow my alternator belt cut through mine and gave me the same code. After I repaired the wiring and deleted the code, it never came back. This is on my 97 OBD2 GSR

could be and or you could have a ton of crap built up if you have any cracks in your plastic cover to allow junk to find it's way in. worst case the sensor needs to be replaced.

replace sensor prolly thinking it is the rotor any suggestions where to find a good cheap new distributor
