Default quick question

I have a 1990 Honda Civic Hatch, when i bought it the car didn't have a lighter or radio.. i completely deleted the lighter and had someone install an aftermarket stereo, before they started as you see in the first pic this is what they had to work with, so anyway after they installed the stereo my dash light's quit working. so i checked the fuse and it was blown so i replaced it, STILL NO DASH LIGHTS. So i uninstalled the stereo unit and looked online for the color codes for the stereo and installed it again and checked the fuses and all were good. but i still had these wires left cut going no where as you see in the second pic..STILL NO DASH LIGHTS..... I don't know if i am even looking at the right fuse for the dash lights because i don't have the plastic piece under the dash telling me whats what. the last 2 pics are of the fuse box. maybe someone here can tell me... and yes i have tried tech forum and many other Honda forums and either no one is ever on to answer or one says not to listen to the other. but everything works except for the tach which i changed the cluster so i would have a tach but has never worked, i have checked the fuses under the dash and under the hood, i have tested the dimmer switch with a tester and was fine. i just need some ideas, and yes i know i am in the wrong thread but i tried other places and no help
