Default Negative camber?

I lowered my car a little bit with coilovers but I would like to drop it somemore. Would negative camber have a negative affect on my 1/4 mile time?

Um, unless your camber is like extremely negative, and I mean so much that your tire isn't making full contact to the ground, then no it should not affect your 1/4 mile time.

Make sure you get the car aligned after adjusting those coilovers, otherwise the toe-in will be out of spec and will eat your tires.

Hard launches and negative camber don't go well together... I mean.. your car won't die, but it's always best to have your camber close to 0. Negative camber is better for RWD cars than FWD cars.

True I would do that right away... Tires get hella expensive if you ignore it.

i wanna know who to. but negative camber isnt always bad thing. just depends on your style of driving. do you drag, autox, or street all depends. i actually like negative camber to a extent because it actually helps in turn in and in the turn. just wears tires a little faster if you dont rotate. rotate rotate rotate

exactly.

I'd be kind of upset if I lowered my car and negative camber wasn't a result. It's one of the perks.

Negative camber helps in the turns but hurts in the drag. For drag setup you want your tires to sit straight up (camber = 0) & for AutoX or road race you'd want some negative camber (-2deg or so).

Some of these guys don't realize that there are forms of racing where you turn in BOTH directions!

Camber isn't what kills tires..it's bad toe that kills tires. I've seen guys run with a good bit of negative camber that don't eat tires. Make sure to get it aligned after you lower it more...and remember, regular tire rotation is key.
