1. So i'm looking for an rsx and my dad's friend owns like a garage where he buys salvaged cars, fixes them and sells it. so i was wonder if it's worth getting an 02 rsx base with 17k miles on it for $7,500. i looked at the pictures w/ all the damage and stuff and it's just headlight/tail light damage (no suspension/frame/engine damage) it's a trustworthy friend, but some people are telling me that 7.5k is too much for it. or should i just spend an extra 2k and get a clean title one?

2. i'm looking for exhausts and stuff and i've seen that the hks hipower is pretty good. but i was ebaying it and i dont get why the one w/ the resonator or w/e you call it is a good 500 and the universal is only 250.
Also, both say that they're hipower but on the pictures only the $500 one actually shows the "hks hipower" writing on it, and the other is just a universal

I would buy a type-s if you want an RSX... You'll be much happier ( no offense to you base owners)

If you want the same burning bumper problem as the rest get the HKS

well i think a clean title is alot better then a salvaged one, also a type s will make you alot happier (no offense to base owners as well) if you can get your hands on one, but that would cost alot more money, so my answer is dont spend the 7.5k if your having doubts ...

as for the hks hipower, the universal one is 250 probably because its only the muffler, i think the price w/ or w/o the silencer is about the same, the silencer is sold separately for something like 20 or 35 bucks so i dont see why the price difference would be so much ... as for the burning bumper, you just need to get a larger rubber hanger, have you seen the pictures of people who have used it, it puts enough space between the bumper and exhaust so it doesnt burn anymore, do some research cause its not much of a problem anymore if you still want the HKS hipower ... i love my hipower : )

7500 for a base is WAY too much. just for comparison, someone i know recently went into a dealership to trade in an 05 base with 50k miles and was only offered 7k.

 

i've looked on craigslist and stuff but cant find a clean rsx for around that price
and type-s is a nono cuz i totaled my 05 accord coupe a few months back and i'm only 17, so my insurance is gonna be crazy high anyways
