i have a 97 dx hatch and it has a gsr swap in it right now and the throttle cable is kinda loose and doesnt fit right..im going to be swapping in a 13:5:1 ls/vtec in a few weeks and i have a skunk2 IM and i was wondering if the throttle cable i have in there now would work or would i have to get the type r throttle cable and bracket.

 

no it should be fine...

is it the oem dx cable? that might be why try getting an ex or si cable becuase of where the dx throttle body is.

 

ya with the skunk2 manifold get the ITR cable and bracket. its just easier than trying to fab something.
