so my question is, is this high, low or normal for a b16a?. i am getting ready to boost the car with a peakboost turbo kit, and just ordered a OEM b16 head gasket.. the sales guys recommended the oem over cometic.. my main question is, is this compression fine for turbo? or should i be getting a little thicker to lower the compression?. i know for a fact the head has been resurfaced, but not sure if it has been milled.. is this normal compression or high?

 

Seems normal to me. My former stock B16s were usually between 215-230.

 

cool thats good to know.. im glad its a healthy motor still for boost soon .. i was just wanting to make sure it wasnt too high.

 

Damn that motor seems pretty healthy!!

 

way better than mine used to be, my b16 had 180 accross the board but it burnt oil
