i have a 92 accord ex with h22a engine and trans... the trans wont shift into any gear and engine wont rev over 3000 rpms and sounds like its under a load but the car isnt moving. the trans has just had a new filter and fluid change. now i get it back together and this is what i get.. any help please

 

I'd be curious as to where the Transmission Filter went.....

 

The Filter goes inside the trans... it was basically rebuilt

Two gear ranges applied at the same time?
The 3k rpm could be all T.Converter slippage.

Any "Check Engine" lamp indicators?

the only check engine light i have is code 36 which i have posted on here to and have googled for but no luck finding any answers on that one. the car was running with h22a and prelude trans but had a issue (out of 10 mins driving the car might or might not do this but it was accelerating at a very slow rate no matter how hard i was on the gas, rpms would slowly go up and the car would barely move then hit about 2500 to 3000 rpms and "lets go" and will drive fine and accelerate fast). the car was doin that so i swapped trans back to the f22a trans(stock) still did it.. both trans have been sitting for about a year. so i took apart and cleaned h22a trans replaced filter and just got that back into the car and now its not goin into any gear at all but engine sounds like its under a load.

 

from above... torque converter has been changed out too but this last time i had f22a trans in with first problem then just swapped trans with cleaned h22a trans and left the torque converter on cuz i new that one is working

 

so far i have checked the linkage and that is fine. the shift rod is clicking into the gears but the parking pin is not engagin or anyother gear for that matter
