Default Retro's question

I have access to 06 wrx projectors well actually the whole headlight and i was wondering if i could use the projectors for my 08 Si or does it have to come off of a honda? and if i can is there anything else i can use and what else would i need other than the projectors....... thanks in advance

It doesn't have to come off of a honda, but some cars projectors are too big to fit in your OEM housing. Other than the prjectors, you would need the ignitors, wires, bulbs, and computors. If they don't end up working for you, let me know, I would like to take them off your hands.

Alright well the car doesnt have HIDs well i dont think so lights came in broken its just a stock wrx not sti does that matter? if it uses a reg halogen bulb?

if you're planning on retrofitting projectors, you may as well retrofit HID projectors. You'll need the correct bulbs and ballast to operate them correctly.

Ah, I see what your saying now. I misunderstood what you meant. Why would you want to do that? There is no point unless they are HID. Especially if you really do have a Mugen Si. Don't mess up the headlights for non HID projectors.

oh alright i wasnt sure if that mattered i thought you could just use the projector its self and use and HID kit but thanks for clarifying ill leave my headlights alone for now

yeah you can get an hid kit from any oem car. im using tsx projectors with oem nissan hid's. my last set-up was audi projectors(which are for sale) with nissan oem hids.

yea but these wrx projectors are not factory HID
