Default Need new motor mounts..

MY mounts are toast. I was going to just replace with stock ones but I'm seeing that a new set of stockers are like 200.00 at majestic honda. Maybe I should go with the ES inserts. Do they make replacement stock rubber inserts that I can have pressed into the stock mount housings? Also should I replace the A/C mount bushing. I just replaced my exhaust header back and took her for a ride. I started to hear an exhaust leak so when I got back to inspect, all of the header pipes were cracked along the flange welds. That's how much the motors moving. Any links would be sweet.

not sure. all have almost 300,000 on them. I dont have the torque mount for the a/c on. I think that the rear mount may be shot but it seems to be intact and I can see some movement in the drivers top mount but the rubber doesnt seem to be cracked. Shoule I get the torque mount for the a/c comperssor. It hasnt been on there since I did the swap about 3 years ago.

EG or EK?

If its an EK do yourself a favor and spend the money on a kit to get rid of the post mount on the driverside. It causes nothing but problems and likes to break alot.

For either, just try your local parts store. They should be able to get them at half the price that Majestic has them for. Window weld is also your friend if you want a cheap way to stiffen them up for a little while. I had to do it until I could afford replacements as well.

No, the parts store does not get them for half the price as majestic does.

The last I checked for the EK driver's mount, majestic had it for $70 shipped. Autozone had it for $55+ tax.

Were you on Majestic's website or the actual dealer? The website has stuff for cheap.
