96 Civic Power Door Lock Actuator

Default 96 Civic Power Door Lock Actuator

I just got a replacement actuator for the right rear door and don't know what I'm in for surely.. Is there a guide on here somewhere? It as simple as removing the door shell and bolting on the replacement? Thanks for all your help with my sorry *** not knowing ****.

you just remove the door trim panel and detach the actuator arms from the exterior and interior handles. then there's some bolts in the door where it meets the door jam that hold the lock assembly on. the actuator is part of the lock assembly.

Pretty much. Autozone.com has a free online repair guide specific to your Honda that has a decent outline of how to do this under "Body & Trim," "Interior," then "Door Locks... "
