OP yes cops have started to crack down on hondas with obscenely loud exhausts... especially people running those damn fart cans. get something like a RSR ex mag, WS2 greddy sp2 that is small and quiet and wont draw attention to you

 

You will have to check your local DMV laws.

Judging by your post, you probably don't have the capacity to do that yourself so you should probably just find a stock exhaust to put on.

where you at? Cali? pretty sure apexi n1 muffler doesnt pass emissions. cop busted you prob cus of noise pollution and n1's are huge. if i can remember emissions is like .3% or .03% im dyslexic i cant remember my bad

nowadays its all about the jdm stock look or oem stock look, not too dropped and decent sounding exhaust. Back in the 90's its was all about the fart cans and how big your exhaust were, and the body kits etc... it seems as though everyone nowadays are trying to completely change this ricer image and thats good. So lose the big sounding exhaust and go with either stock Itr, ctr or whatever or get an aftermarket brand that keeps quiet.. dont "forget" the cat because that plays a big role on how loud ur exhaust will be

i think it has to do with how the fast and the furious' initial release has now been quite a while ago, and the newer sequels don't get the hype they used to (thank god, lol). This makes the people most likely to rice out cars less interested for the most part because there's nothing stimulating them to do so.
