Default OEM Type R exhaust on EM1

Searched, but found nothing. I've heard people say that the Type R exhaust has the same bends as the civic exhaust piping, but the hangers may need to be modified. Any ideas from personal experiences of what it takes to make this combo work? I'm looking to order this for my 00' EM1.

Thanks guys.

It would bolt up to an EK without modifications from what ive been told. But for anything else just cut/weld it in. Did it on my EG aswell.

Well if it bolts up to an EK, than there should be no problems (or minimal if any) fitting it to an EM1. Isn't the chassis the same anyway?

I was able to put my brothers 00 GSR exhaust onto my 99 Civic hatchback all the way back- but the muffler section was too long for me. It should fit since your coupe is longer in that rear area.

It will fit a coupe, but the tail pipe will probably need an extension. My friend has the JDM ITR on his EJ1 and all that was needed was extending the tail pipe, and the B-pipe needs to be extended to meet the cat. All hangers match up.

The EM1 is significantly longer than a DC2. You'll have to extend some stuff. But the front 2 hangers should fit.

Thanks for the responses! I'll purchase and just have a muffler shop extend the piping.
