i "special" smogged my car today and after it was done the speedometer didnt work anymore. the rpms would still go up. but the gas mileage gauge, mileage and speed wouldnt go up when i was driving. i was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this

 

would start with checking fuses.. checking grounds.. and if you recently installed/changed something check that. ie radio, amps, fog lights.

 

my car just died out while i was driving lights starting dimming and everything

 

check alternator.

 

i know the exact problem. theres an alternator/spd sensor fuse under the driverside steering column. the fuse is burned. replace the 15amp fuse and you're golden.
