Whats up!! I'm new 2 da board and I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Ryan, I live in Pasadena, Ca and I drive an extremely slow, completly stock, light blue / teal '95 Accord LX. I'm probally gonna go show b 4 go, because this is my daily driver and I gotta commute 45 minutes to school and back everyday. I'm looking at either 17's or 18's Chrome (yes I no I no) and trying to decide what tires to get.
uhhh no.. dude whatever you do dont do chrome. if you know.. yeah the proper word is "Know".. then dont do it.. look for some decent performance rims.. everyone here is in aww of Kazmans94cord rims and now he is selling them.. if you would get anything get them.. chrome and luxury rims dont look right.. depending on sizes i ll answer the orginal question... some go 215-235/40 or 45..i guess
School aint started yet, and this isn't an english lesson, but thank you for the correction anyway. The alloy and gun metal rims are to dull. My car is shinny, and I'm going to add grills pretty soon, so I don't want to have a glossy car with dull rims you know?

If you go chrome for wheels, you're not going 'go' at all. Ever. It's all show. Period.
Regardless, all of us in here are knowledgeable in pure performance aspects of the Accord. For 'all show, no go' queries, please see the appearance modifications forums.

Kazmans rims are white and there is nothing dull about them. From the pics I've seen they have a nice shine to them.
Welcome to the board.

Thanks Ideal and Ahab. Martaigne I'm not just gonna go show I'm gonna go for speed as well, I just wanna fix up the exterior a little bit first. I thought about maybe a H22 or 23 swap but like I said this is my daily driver so I am going to be putting a lot of miles on the engine. Do u guys think it's gonna be worth the swap when i'm driving about 100 miles a day?

Yes, a swap is worthwhile. Either way you go, it's a Honda, and it'll survive as long as it's...
...done right.
Don't go chrome. They are for trucks, SUVs, and luxury cars. If you are going show then you could still get a good looking set of 18's that would be a hell of a lot lighter than chromies. Honda motors aren't know for torque, and you wiil need alot to turn a set of chromes.
chromes are whack. go with brilliant buff finish* or *polished* same affect, except REALLY light weight compared to the blings. TRUST ME* my car came with chromes, and when i got rid of them...sad to say, black steelies made my car look nicer. anyways, you'll get a lot of replies hating or not due to the lack of posts in the accord forum..
