To the few people with 92-95 civic sedans still rolling the Tan interior PLEASE post pictures. I am putting tan cloth integra seats in mine bc/ my oem tan is flawless and I don't feel like spending upwards of $400 to covert the whole thing to grey. Plus it is less and less common (bc so many think it is ugly).. but I am sure a few people have found a way to stick with the full tan and make it look really good.

So please post any pictures you have...

there are things you can do to make it look better, like play with the seats, door panel inserts, audio console, jdm armrest pad and maybe recover the thick pad to a color that flows.. I'll add some as soon as my DC2 seats get here...

LOOKING FOR PICTURES, NOT OPINIONS! please keep your "tan/brown is ugly/gay etc" or "suck it up and swap it all blah blah" comments to yourself. I AGREE THAT THE OEM GREY LOOKS A LOT BETTER, AND THE JDM BLACK STUFF IS THE BEST LOOKING BY FAR, but I have better things to spend that much money on... this is for those that want some idea's for the option of being happy with the tan. In my old white EG 4dr I did a tan/black combo and it looked really nice (black carpet, lower consoles, etc.)

 

well if you look back one page in the ferio squad thread i posted mine as of now (waiting for the teg fronts).. I guess I can post those in here too... I bought the center strip stuff in grey with plans to switch it all over... but after giving it some more thought of how much it will all cost, just not worth it. So excuse the current mis-matched center strip

i def think i'll go back to the tan center strip so it matches bc that looks bad.

i have since put the stock center console and shift boot in, at the bottom of the page, someone posted a tan interior with the same steering wheel as me

 

wow I have NEVER seen a coupe with tan interior. didn't even know that was an option. thanks for the link. That wheel isn't too bad... But I still think I would switch to a grey steering column cover set and run a black wheel... maybe not tho. try to keep it all flowing.

After I get the teg seats in if I am still feeling it, I may see if somebody will trade me their tan audio console skin for my flawless grey skin. and go back to the tan center strip so it all matches again instead of the all grey I have now.

 

yeah i have the fabric teg seats that are tan, and they make the interior alot niceer then the stock seats.

 

I know there are some out there. Please post em up. even if you only changed a couple tiny things.... post some pictures. I searched and there are no tan interior picture threads to be found...

I dont like tan unless it's all tan Like that pic^^^ up there, I have an accord and its nasty poop brown and tan with black carpet and red sparco seats, professional dye job oem black this spring cant wait. if you want your car interior stock with tan thats fine but IMO tan and some upgraded interior looks siiickk like my car ha.

I also have a coupe(black) with tan interior and I wanted to keep it also cuz its minty and different. There was actually a integra not too long ago in the appearence thread that had a brown interior and it was "flawless" some guy out in Cali I think. But Im about to do my interior up so I'll prob post up some pics tomorrow. But great thread man much props for thinking outside the box...

Yea I just switched the center shifter console and armrest in tan back in and they're flawless as well. When I bought my audio console I got grey b/c I planned to swap it all, then I found the armrest with the JDM thick pad and cup holder inside... But I will have the audio console professionally dyed tan soon.

I will then recover the armrest pad in a shade of tan probably (find a better type of fabric and do the door panel inserts in the same stuff bc I hate the chorderoy <SP> looking material, maybe even the entire upper half of the interior.... a thin soft carpet type stuff like the head liners and pillars in german cars. adds a nice chill luxuary feel).

after I get these tan dc2 front seats, I'll have to find some clean tan 4dr rear teg seats to match..

glad I found a few people that chose to be different instead of falling into the cookie cutter "has to be black to be clean/nice".

I have a 4dr EG with tan interior, still hunting some tan teg seats though.
I wrapped the speaker covers in black mesh cloth material(like that used over home stereo speakers), got all black vents and black carpet. Car is light green with black wheels so it goes together nicely and I don't get any crap from the popo like I used to in the white SI.

Green/Tan + B20B swap=fly under the radar
