Valve Cover Stud and bolt
This stud is broken on my valve cover and i have oil leaking through. I want to know where i could get the new part and how i go by installing it. Does it need specific torque down specifications?. Any help would be appreciated
same thing happened to my friends h22. its kinda like a double sided threaded stud. you gotta take the valve cover off and use a wrench to get it off. you can get the piece at a honda dealership. and for torque specs. i dont know we just tightened it good enough and installed the valve cover and there was no more leak.
hope this helps abit.

go to majestichonda.com or acuraautomotive, find picture of part, find part number, order part.
take valve cover off remove old bolt, install new bolt.
not much to it.

#25 is - 90212-PR3-000 NUT, HEAD COVER $2.19
#24 is - 90012-PM7-000 BOLT B, HEAD COVER $3.32
Here is the torque sequence torque to 8.7ft/lb

The above service manual page is for an H22, not a B16 sorry

I know that this thread is old as hell but I am having the same problem and was wondering if that part number 90014-pr3-000 was good for first gen B16a not the b16a2 or anything like that just the "a".
