Default weird headlight/windshield wiper issue.

So this morning my head lights and windshield wipers worked fine and independent of eachother. I know because I only used the wipers briefly to remove some frost, and had my headlights on the rest of the way to school without the wipers.

But this afternoon I am getting ready to leave the parking garage that I park in during work, so I turn on the headlights and the wipers turn on at the same time. They only turn on by themselves when the headlights are in the on position. The turn signals have also stopped working with the headlights on.

I can turn the wipers on with out having the headlights turn on, and the turn signals work fine with the head lights off.

The car is a 2000 Civic Si.

Any ideas of what could be the problem?

Really no one has any ideas what the problem is and how it can be fixed?

Nope, oddly enough I haven't touched any wires behind the dash.

take the head wiper switch out and turn on the lights see if the wipers still turn on by them selves.

are you the original owner?

Not the original owner. I unplugged the wiper switch and now the head lights turn on fine except for the fact that my left turn signal doesnt work with the head lights on now.

So this morning I honked my horn at a possum and the headlights/wipers fixed themselves for like 5 min. Someone has screwed this wiring up BAD.
