Icon6 Rpms and power window

Since the search is disabled... whenever I go to roll down my driver window it barely goes down (in the winter it sticks, fine when the weather is warm) but my main concern is that the rpms dip a little when I'm idling and doing this. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Mine does the exact same thing, I think it's farely normal. Most of my Honda's have done this.

Sounds like you need to lube the window tracks with some white lithium grease.

^ agree. almost all power windows that i have ever had i a honda will drop the rpms, mainly cause the windows are a pretty nice size load on the alternator.

Like apekd said, the window motor does put a load on the alternator, which causes the RPM's to sink a little bit, so no worries.

I personally would use silicone on the window tracks, not white lithium grease.
