Need info on this swap. Will everything on my LS tranny bolt right up to a GSR tranny? Axles, VSS sensor, starter, etc...

yes it will as long is its hydro to hydro or cable to cable

 

you will need different axles. speed sesnor is the same and you will need a vtec starter..correct me if im wrong

 

axles are the same im not sure about the starter though seems like my buddy had problems with his starter im not sure

 

no there all the same axle starter from 90-01 integra

 

are you sure? from 94-01 trannys are hydros not cables anymore

i was thinking they were all the same. only difference is between auto and manual

 

starter and VSS are all the same, VTEC and non-VTEC. The only difference between the axles is the presence of the ABS ring on GS-R axles.

So it should be a straight bolt-in swap.

 

So, basically everything I had on the LS tranny, right? Do you have a pic of this ABS ring? Just curious...

 

It's just that little toothed ring that sits right behind the hub when the axle is in place. If your LS has ABS then your axles already have this. But basically it's a non-issue since we're talking about a GS-R tranny in an LS.

 

pretty much now all the axles you'll buy will have the abs rings on them. because there won't be a difference if you have the rings and don't have abs. but yeah you're just going to change out the transmission as long as it's the right one, hydro or cable.

Any other things I should change while I have the tranny out? The clutch is fairly new, and so is the slave cylinder.
