I just recently accidently found out I backfired. Lol. Well when Im in 2 or 3 or 4 gears and let go of the gas and just tap it once more it back fires. Is this normal? I like how it sounds specially with my exhaust but Im just wondering...

 

nope not normal check if your sparkplugs and wires are good on both sides

huh idk.^^. Lets see my friends 00' em1 backfires well he can 'make' it backfire. Doing the same thing you do just go through the gears and tap the gas. There is nothing wrong with his car except that he is running with no muffler. My old Dsm did it too nothing wrong with it ran fine for 2 years then i sold it. My current accord does it when im boosting high end rpm i'll get a loud one when im running starch, i also started it in this cold weather, shouldnt have. Shot a flame2 ft long out the exhaust and backfired louder than ever. but becuase of the cold. In my experiance all my cars and friends cars that backfire when taping the gas have had no problems with there car.
