Default Any of you AEM EMS guys running FJO Sensors on your drag set-up?

Hey guy, I been looking at the FJO Gauge sensors. Has anyone use them on the AEM EMS? Their about $55 ( no pigtail I believe, but Horsepower freaks has the connector for $11) a sensor compared to AEM's $150 a sensor. They seem to be better quality too. Looking to use them to set up the safety features of cutting engine power if a oil or fuel pump fails.

If anyone has done it:

1) How did you set it up on the AEM, what # EMS used, etc
2) Where did you buy the sensors etc
3) what pin outs did you use

Thanks

As far as quality goes, the AEM stuff is top notch as it is the same thing as the Motec sensors.

I was using the FJO sensor with my AEM since 2000. Two years ago the sensor started to go bad and it was only a few dollars more for me to buy a complete AEM wideband unit vs buying a new NTK sensor for the FJO. So I purchased a new AEM wideband.

I was using the FJO on a 1000 box and a 1040 box. Just got into the software and select the FJO sensor and then 'sync' the wideband readout with your aem and guage.
I never bought a new sensor b/c it was so expensive. The new FJO boxes can use the NTK sensors or the cheaper bosch sensors.
I do not know the pin out off the top of my head but if you look in your manual it is clearly stated.

Hope that helps

The AEM sensors are not the same as Motec sensors. Same calibration, different sensor.

Maybe not the PN exactly and such but we ordered a Motec 5 bar and it was the same look/body except the Motec had female NPT on it I think? As opposed to the male NPT on the AEM unit.
