Default Ideas for weight reducing ITR...

Someone tell me what things I can take out to get some weight out of my car...
Also any free or very cheap mods I can do also would be nice... thx

Weight: spare/tools/jack, seats, panels, etc...

Free: timing advance to 18 degrees, drop cat at the track

Thx, but i can't seem to get my bolts off to advance my timing those buggers are just not coming off at all...

sure...things you can take out of the car....

*free mods*

shift ****, all seats besides driver, carpet, tar under carpeting, dashboard, all interior panels, jack/spare, power steering, a/c, center console, guage cluster, side view mirrors, radio,bumper supports, rear bumper, rear wing, emblems, all heat shields, rear windshield wiper motor, airbags all door locks, splash guards, fender linings, sideskits, remove resonator, headlights, spark plug cover, gass cover, rear window entirely. cat/b-pipe/exhaust muffler,...

*mods you afford by selling parts taken out from free mods section*
Fiberglass entire front, (hood/fenders), lexan windows, lighter driving bucket, lighter battery, spoon calipers, spoon sw388's with light tires....

if you take all that crap out, you will lose atleast 400 lbs

I drooped out my stock seats and that made a small but noticeable difference.

nto too heavy, about 10 lbs entire assembly.

They can be really hard, ty putting the wrenh on and hitting the wrench with your hand.

umm... can you say stripped bolt?
Try some liquid wrench (spray and soak, overnight if necessary). Then use a wrench, with a torque pipe if necessary.

Everytime you have to replace a stock part, like tires, clutch.. replace it with a performance part.

And the free and cheap mod: PRACTICE

A good set of rimsn`tires will make your car faster anyway. Depends on you`re track or drag racing...

If it's sorta expensive, it is the plug to plug the hole with.
Go to lowes. In the blue bens by the hardware they have these things called elevator bolts. buy one of those the right size to plug the hole along with the appropiate nut and washer, and use that part. total cost less then $2. paint it black and looks very OEM.

Yeah im not worried about drivin it, i can drive it awesome, i jsut want some extra power until i start with some mods...
