Default people with 5 lug

after you converted did you change your master cylinder? cause i have the stock 98 cx cylinder...and when i press on the damn brakes the pedal goes almost to the ground (i knew there was gonna be a difference, and had planned on getting a larger master cylinder). did you guys use a usdm itr master cylinder? or...which one did you guys use? any input would be appreciated.

More importantly, you should change your prop valve since you changed over to rear disc brakes.

But yea, I also have a 5 lug on a 95 CX and I did install the booster and MC from an ITR with a 40/40 prop valve. It helps a lot and peddle feel is night and day...

You can obtain the MC and booster from a 98+ Integra because they are all 1 inch MC as well, unless I am wrong and someone could chime in to correct me.

Good luck with fix...

For the MC and booster, the 98+ Integra's I believe all came with 1 inch MC and boosters. You should be able to find some easily now and days. Remember to check your prop valve if the previous owner changed that.

One thing I forgot was and if the Integra's MC and boosters fit 96-00 civics.... If they didnt fit, you could try to locate a CTR MC and booster or just use the 99-00 SI's on that car...

For the prop valve, I believe the one from the 99-00 SI will work. For the MC and booster, the only ones that are 1 inch are the 98-01 GSR's and ITR's.

Check out the Brake section in the forums and there is a lot of facts that can answer all your questions...

I had a 95 EX ej1 coupe, threw the 99 spec JDM (36mm) 5 lug setup.

used 92 Integra (DA) 40/40 prop valve

used a 2002 RSXtype-S 15/16 mc/booster.

worked really well.

(just had to re-pin the brake fluid sensor& ben the line a tad bit) other than that it worked great!!

hope this helps!

the factory dx prop valve is 40/40. the 1" master from a 98-01 integra will bolt up to your factory lines. not sure if it works with the stock booster though.

for the record, any Integra from '92 and up that has ABS, will have a 1" MC.
