IMO that is a pretty stiff set up. on my hatch (sounds like a shitty set up) i had eibach springs idk how much of a drop it was like 2 inches and monroe struts and it rode REALLY good. i was amazed at how well it rode as long as most of the ppl that rode with me

H&R Sport springs for 94-01 Integras are SOFT!!!!!!! Much too soft for the amount they drop! I had them on my Koni Sport shocks back in the day and it rode like ***.

Also, it was MAD raked, like 2-finger gap in the rear with the Koni spring perch on the stock setting. Luckily I had the option to lower the rear spring perch to even it out, but with KYB AGX's you do not. You'll be stuck with less than 1-finger gap up front (too low for the soft H&R Sport springs) and a much larger gap over the rear tires.

I have a picture of my car after I first installed the H&R Sports, with it sitting raked as I described, but I don't have it uploaded right now. It's not a very clear pic, either, as it's scanned from a photo print. This was back in 2001 before I had a digital camera

Hard to say, since I've only had H&R Sports, Ground Controls, and stock GS-R springs and ITR springs, all on the same Koni Sport shocks.

If you can spend about $600, try to find a set of stock ITR springs and then buy a set of new Koni shocks. I run my stock GS-R springs up front and stock ITR rear springs out back with the Koni perches all on the lowest setting. It lowers the car a fair amount compared to stock, yet still has a decent ride quality.

Also, the Koni shocks will last a LONG time with this setup. I've been on this setup since April 2005, and I've had these Koni shocks since February 2002 for nearly 175K miles now, and they're still working great.

The reason for the ITR springs is that the car sat noticeably raked with the GS-R rear springs with just the rear Koni perch on the lowest setting. The front say just right with the GS-R front springs and the Koni perch on the lowest setting.

stock GS-R rear spring vs. ITR rear spring:

yep that's it. The front shocks can lower the spring perch by 1", but with the wheel motion ratio on the front LCA's, that comes out to about a 1.5" drop at the wheel.

Even at the height pictured above I still scrape my ITR lip sometimes, especially when coming out of a driveway when there isn't room for me to come out at an angle.

I also own Agx and H&R Sports and they sucked! i scraped my itr lip so much I had to swap them out for Prokits... than 2weeks after that I just got Koni Sp3 shocks and top hats with GC.. Best mod i ever made. I'm actually a lil lower than that teg pictured above and I dont scrape at all... I would look into that suspension and dont make same mistake I did..lol

I have the skunk2 sleeve coils with AGXs set to stiff. I don't drive my integra daily so I have it pretty much slammed. The whole set-up is pretty stiff, but it doesn't rattle your fillings or anything.

Pretty soon I think I am gonna get the Tein Monoflex full coilover though, I would like a little less hop when I hit dips in turns.

This is what I had to deal with every day at school when my car was on H&R Sports. Always scraped coming down the ramps unless I went like 2 mph.

Patrick, I can buy 2 brand new ITR rear springs on AcuraOEMparts.com for 80 bucks a piece... Do I need to buy anything other than the springs, or will the springs go right on my gsr? I am going to by Koni Shocks as well.

Yea they will fit fine.

But I would find somebody selling a set man. I picked up a set of 4 ITR springs for $100.

The ITR rear suspension is designed different from our ls/gs/gsr. The LCAs in the rear a different shape which mean the shocks in back are designed different. If you want to go ITR suspension you can get it second hand for about 300 I believe

the tein h-tech is a very close copy in rate and drop to the ITR. they sit a little high for some peoples tastes on a non adjustable shock but they would give you a LOT of flexability on a koni. this is a shitty shot but it's the htech on a tokico blue. the sloped driveway kind of screws the angle. with the perches on a koni this could go down. i'm starting to get tired of 17s. don't those look almost too big for the car? they are fairly light and authentic rays wheels though

i had this setup (H&R sports/KYB AGX) on my first db8 and liked it. dropped the car right on the wheels in the front, 1.5 finger gap maybe in the back, on 16s with 205-40-16 tires. i rode that setup for like 80k miles before i blew my first shock.

it handled a lot better than stock, and wasn't too harsh, i used to ride with the AGXs on 2 since it was a daily and I had a toddler in the car all the time. definitely a good setup for the price tag.
