I got a black 97 civic coupe up for sale the car is far from perfect but very reliable and excellent on gas. It has right around 175k on it, 5spd and runs flawless. It has a alpine cd changer in the back. This was a car i took has a trade+cash last year for my integra and we've driven it this past year. My girl drove it everyday an hour to work and back up until recently. I just bought a 00 hatch and we transferred the tags and took it off the road because we can't afford the insurance on 3 vehicles so this coupe has to go.

The downside is the car came from OH so it has alot of surface rust in the engine bay on bolts,manifold etc nothing leaks it works fine just don't look the greatest.

The body had a rust spot on 1 rear quarter other then that the body is pretty flawless not beatup at all and looks good when cleaned up.

Things that need fixed but don't effect your ability to drive it.

Drivers side window- Only rolls up 3/4 of the way or will jump off track need window mechanism

Shifter feels sloppy-I think the shift linkage needs a bushing

Drivers door-creaks when you open it wide

Hood latch needs replaced-The wire is up front you pull it thru the grill.


Trying to be has honest has possible this car has a good inspection till july i believe. This car has been good to us and saved us a ton of gas money.
