pic coilover install questions
heyy h-t... im having some problems, i got my PIC coilovers a couple of weeks ago, they are for a type r and and im using function 7 control arms with them. when i put the PIC coilover in the lca it isnt snug it has play side to side even with the bolt in and tight, but when i put the stock type strut inside the lca it fits tight, and the bushing on the stock strut seems to be a little bigger. Do you think its possible the lower mount bushings on the PIC coilover are wrong?? any suggestions would be very helpful...thanks in advance.

You can contact PIC Performance here on H-T if you like.
Otherwise you could probably just use a washer to take up any room on the bolt inside the LCA. I would use a washer with an ID to match the bolt's diameter, and an OD not much bigger than the bushing's metal sleeve, if any.

I don't see why it would. If anything, it should help prevent unwanted rattling noises.
PIC Performance should confirm that, though. Don't take my word for it.

A washer will be exactly what you'll need to close up that gap. It seems like the rear lca's on JDM cars had a narrower "box" than the USDM ITR, and our rear lower mounts are modeled after the JDM arms.
