Default Accord ?'s...

I spent an hour doing searches for info but couldnt find any, so here goes....
1) What is the engine code for a 97 Accord EX?
2) Would swapping an H22 into a 97 Accord EX be worth it (HP gains vs. cost, etc...)?
3) Anyone with a 94-97 Accord with an H22 swap have any regrets, suggestions, TIMESLIPS?

Please bare with me....I cant decide if i want to swap the motor in my civic for a b18c or crvtec, OR buy an Accord and swap in an H22....H22's have very attractive HP/TQ numbers, but how does an H22 Accord compare to a b18c or crvtec motor in a Civic (Cost, power etc..)
Thanks...

1. F22B1
2. yes or go turbo
3. should run around a 15 flat

what civic do you drive....they do make kits for H22's into civic's....that would be pretty sweet

First off you have to think about what you want. Do you want a car for auto-x, drag racing etc...., the civic with a b18, cr-vtec or even an h22 would be damn nice, and more powerfull, then an accord with h22. Now i mean if you wanted too and had alot of money you could make the accord quick as ****, with FI h22 but then that gets expensive. There are alot of different views and opionons on this subject, Think about what you want, and i will give you my opionon on it and im sure everyone else will...maybe...if they like you.
