I have a baiscally stock B20Z in my 1988 HB. Overall, I would say that it is the best bang for the buck swap out there. Forget about the LS! This motor is WAYYYYY better! As for the transmission, I am using a B18A YS1.

What does the b20 redline at? What are the specs?
Are all crv's autos? Those motors are prolly least likely to be dawged, just a thought.

I would say around 6500 certainly no higher than 6800.

B20z is the one to go for. The other B20, the B20B? I think it is, is only 126 hp.
