allllllllllll custom.. from the MX73 rear independent suspension to the front being completely redesigned. 2600 series bags in the front 2800 bags in the rear. 1JZ-GTE running the stock twins at 1 bar of boost, R154 trans. etc etc etc...

It lays out floorboards, pinch welds, and crossmembers.... full stainless exhaust that is 2Inch tandem all the way back so I can get it as low as possible.

Snatched from the Hood Rides thread. I love this wagon!

The only car that comes to my mind is that dudes EF with the HX wheels with the hubbies over them. Can't remember who's car it is or what engine it has in it. Oh and I also think it's red. Even though this is the Other Makes forum, again, that is the only one I can think of that really sticks out in my mind.

Thank you very much for that. I've actually been looking around for that car and haven't been able to find it. Again, thank you!

Well the first wagon doesn't appear unassuming, like the term "sleeper" applies. It's fairly recent and German, so I would expect it to have at least some power.

Yeah. The Vdub is not a sleeper. If that thing pulled up beside me at a light, I'd look over at it and notice the disgusting hood and Porsche wheels.

The Toyota is sick as fff****, but its far from a sleeper. I wouldn't expect it to be fast based on exterior appearance, but its not a sleeper.

Even that EF kills the sleeper effect with the ZZZZ tag, at least in my opinion.

This is a sleeper....

yeah the jetta wagon isn't really a sleeper. Modded like that I'm not surprised there is motor work done. Same with the yota. The EF is pretty sleepy but I agree, the tag sucks, otherwise it's

now the mighty max, that thing is ****ing comatose.

I think my speed 3 is sort of a factory sleeper, just because nobody really knows about it, and you can get 300 at the wheel with bolt-ons. I've gotten some pretty confused looks from people.

These threads never work.

Too many sleeper snobs on H-T. Anything short of a stock looking Radio Flyer wagon that runs 10s isnt a "sleeper" to them.

No, its that the term "sleeper" is thrown around too losely. That EF civic is a PERFECT sleeper, as well as that coupe that went as far as the engine bay to make it look like a sleeper. I've seen toolbags who are lowered on spoon wheels call themselves sleepers because they're running 7psi on a stock D series.

I considered my volvo a "sleeper." Aside from a very mild drop, small FMIC, and slightly larger than stock exhuast it appeared to be stock, but was packing about 275hp.

The roll cage, harnesses, and slicks make that very unassuming.
