My Odyssey check engine light came on and when it gets to 3000 rpm it starts missing and sputtering.

I just had the timing belt changed and they also pressure washed the engine.

Any help would be very greatful.

Can you get the code pulled and post it here?

 

Yes, the ODB code would be very helpful. Mine came on and the code pointed me in the right direction. I replaced the part last Saturday, and so far so good. Mine pointed to a possible faulty solenoid valve. Now the $64,000 question...Do you have access to the tool that will tell you the code? I got lucky, someone in my company had one which he lent me.

not trying to scare you but bad timing can cuase it to sputter and miss... also what could of happened was when you pressure washed it you probably shorted something like a spark plug wire or maybe water creep into the spark plugs and damped them. maybe remove them and dry them up relly good. hope this info helps... and if not i tried! lol. good luck finding the fault.
