Default which ecu

i am putting a '99 ls engine into my '00 civic. should i use the obd2 ecu that came out of the integra? it has the immobilizer so i would have to get around it.
or should i use an obd0 ecu that i have from an integra?
will my stock ecu run the b18?
i need help thanks.

'99 integras are still OBD2A and don't have an immobilizer ('00 - '01 Integras are OBD2B and are indeed equipped with an immobilizer) So you can use an OBD2B to OBD2A adapter harness and use the '99 LS ECU, you could also use an '00 - '01 LS ECU if you send it to Katman to have the immobilizer removed (no jumper harness this way, probably costs about the same once you weigh the cost of the jumper harness against the immobilizer removal), your third option would be to use an adapter harness and an OBD1 LS ECU, (or any non Vtec OBD1 ECU chipped for a B18B1).

They don't, but I can understand where people would get that idea, seeing as how civics are OBD2B from '99 on, Integra's switched one year later (civics didn't get immobilizers though btw)
